First! Yay for Part 2!

There are so many things that I love about this. Sadly, I am still swamped and can't do an in-depth review. I swear, after today the academia hell is over, and I'll have some time. Meanwhile, here's a quick summation of my biggest squee moments:

There are so many wonderful little moments in here and it follows the first part very well, being as packed with love in Peter's every move and thought for Rose. But for once, I was left wanting a little more actual dialogue, especially here:

"He walked over to her, pulled a chair alongside. As their daughter had her fill, he quietly told Rose of how happy he was, how happy she had made him-what she meant to him. Rose’s gaze was full of love as she listened, as she in turn told him just how much she loved him, what he had done for her. It was perhaps the single most perfect moment of his life, he reflected, as they ended by gazing at each other in silence."

It's a great moment, but I've seen you write some amazing conversations between Peter and Rose, and this felt like a missed opportunity.

That's the only thing I can see that I would change. The rest is stellar.

Thank you. As for the conversation...well, it's about a five minute conversation. Which equates to an *awful* lot of print. Even beyond that, though, I thought it might be nice--just once--to leave things to the readers imagination, and to give Peter and Rose a bit of (relative) privacy. I'm sorry it didn't work for you.

I am, however, very glad that you enjoyed the rest of the story! :)

awww! So many funny and sweet bits in this chapter.

"He’d spent hours holding her, gazing at her; memorizing every feature of her small face, staring awestruck as one of her small hands wrapped around his finger"

"His memories of the delivery resurfaced, fear clutching his stomach. He didn’t want to risk losing Rose again."

poor Peter! she's really going to have to talk him through his fears before they try again.

She really is. Rose, I think, is going to be driven near-insane by Peter's vigilance in using protection once they start having sex again. They're going to have to have a pretty serious talk before they start trying for child number two.

OK, this was possibly the sweetest Thing EVER! I love Peter's nervousness and the fact that the only things he can focus on are Rose and Lucy. And I LOVE the last bit :)
