It's always a pleasure to read these lovely ficlets. I loved the conversation between Rose and Peter about having a baby. She's still so afraid of disappointing him, isn't she? But I'm glad she told him how she truly felt. And that he had the courage to bring it up to her in the first place. I thought he might hold out for a later fic there for awhile. And of course, another breathtaking love scene between them was so wonderful to see. Anyway, thank you for the delightful read.

She remains terrified of hurting him emotionally, especially given his past. It doesn't normally come to the fore quite like this, but it's alway there.

And that he had the courage to bring it up to her in the first place.

Peter internalizes a lot of things; but I think he's learned, with Rose, to just get the truly important things out on the table, right away (a lesson learned both from the ex-wife thing, but also from Rose's delay in telling him about the Doctor). Better to have it out there, and get an answer, than to keep it in and always wonder.

Any chance you'll tell us some of these reasons, or are they top secret between you and the betas? I know EGT can be very strict about letting hints out...*remembers failed attempts to bribe for Chaos Theory tidbits* ;)

Nope, not top-secret at all. The reason will become self-evident, actually, but not for a little while longer.
