It happened for us on the west coast too. We were watching the show about 10 minutes behind the actual broadcast so luckily when I went to live tv I could rewind and see that final 10 minutes.
What really pissed me off is they ran long on Tue night too and I totally missed Daughtry because I didn't watch that show until last night before turning on the finale.

Yea, I missed Daughtry too. I wasn't even sure if it was Daughtry that I missed until I talked to a co-worker yesterday.
