I quite like the idea of the four of them as a matched set and perfect cover.

I do love an OT4, however it's situated. I know it's super idealistic but whatever, it's a story! So I'm really glad you liked it!

I have no doubt that Amanda looks totally badass in that suit. I don't blame Carly.

But I do kind of want to live with them in their little gay commune. I can just see the neighbors if it ever occurs to them to wonder about it, taking one look at Chris and thinking....nah.

They're kids are going to go to college and their friends will think their parents are the coolest because they're already badder rebels than they could hope to be!

I found out the other day that mintcloud recced ADTCNL on TV Tropes (!) and put "slash, cross-dressing, sex" as the warnings and I was like, "cross-dressing? oh yeah!" which just goes to show that even in my head, even as much as I adore drag kings and love a girl in a suit almost as much as Carly does, when I hear the phrase "cross-dressing" I picture Draco in fishnets and a corset.

I know, will those kids be even more radical, or will they be little Alex P Keatons? And I mean, I grew up in small town America and my girl scout leader was a lesbian, and everyone knew it. I don't think you can have girl scouts without lesbians; I think the movement runs on their backs to a certain extent.

Also this was another excuse to visit the non-POV character, and fun to have Carly lusting over Amanda and just sitting around adoring her.
