As always I've been entertained by the best-of-the-year and best-of-the-decade lists that have been rolling out over the past six weeks or so. I'm not going to make a list of films or music, having consumed such a small portion of either of them. But television is a different story. My Freaks & Geeks DVDs are currently spoken for, but if you want to borrow Wonderfalls, I'll send them home with Michal next time she visits (which should be soon); and when I get F&G back, I'll send those along too, if you want!

Thank you so much! I actually have Wonderfalls here, from Val, so I have NO EXCUSE. And thanks to NetFlix I've been working my way through Freaks and Geeks, having watched the first four DVDs so far. I like the show a lot, but I don't love it. That is, I adore Kim and Lindsay and the mathletes, and I like the Freak boys, but I don't have a lot of patience for the Geek boys.

Are there other shows you'd recommend?
