Rhysenn wrote David C/David A slash, but it was more about the total avalanche of the stuff and frankly I don't even get it. Cook/Jason, Cook/Michael, sure. And even the Danny Noriega/Archie stuff. But the explosion of Cookleta is yeah, a little odd.

No, not at all! People are writing piles of Cook/Archuleta fic ("cookleta") including a few people outside of idolslash who are big time slashers like Rhysenn. My ship? Not taking off in any way; that's what I meant by the "con".

It's a friends-only comm-many RPS comms are. But I don't think you have to be approved to join. There isn't fic there, but lots and LOTS of squeeing and links to things like interviews and audio of Simon on Ryan's show and video clips of Rymon-ness on AI and all that sort of thing.

from a mostly nonslasher's pov: cook/johns: very, very hot. cookstro: can be hot, depending. ccokleta: no, except for that very well-done, ambiguous story where most of the focus was on small david's identity and crush issues. i just don't get it, i think we may be too old to get it.
