Last Sunday I spent a harrowing five hours driving in a snowstorm from Portland to Cambridge-a trip that should have taken two hours, but traffic had slowed to about 20mph in the snowy dark, and oddly there wasn't much plowing happening on 95/128, much less Route 2. (That hill coming into Cambridge? Absolutely terrifying

Oh, Car Talk is hilarious. I don't really give a shit about cars or anything, but whenever I'm on a long trip, I listen to that show -- it's so funny.
