There' s a cold front about to pass, and it could potentially bring some severe weather.  Yay!  Haha.  No rain or anything quite yet, but the sky is pitch black and kind of eerie.  It looks more like 7pm than 4:30pm.  Bring on the lightning and the thunder!  And let it be over with by the time I want to walk to my car :)

I can't believe Nancy Pelosi is Speaker of the House.  That's incredible!  One of the only people in the government to speak her mind and vocally call the president "incompetent" is in a position of some power.  The contrast between our ultra-conservative executive branch and the representative from SAN FRANCISCO makes me laugh.  I can't wait to ( Read more... )

Despite being fairly low-key, this weekend was pretty awesome (or maybe it was awesome because it was low-key).  Well Friday night, obviously, was Game 5 when the Cardinals clinched the World Series.  Yay!  It was weird though because it seemed kind of anti-climatic.  It kind of felt more like the Tigers lost the World Series than the Cardinals won ( Read more... )
