On Writing and People that Write

Today has been the first time in about a month that I actually was able to sit down and just write.

And let me tell you, it was amazing. All my feelings just came out of me, and I wrote my heart out. It's amazing just how thereapeutic writing can be. I feel so completely calm now, without a care in the world.

Writers *do* rock! And people who say writing should only be a hobby are just jealous of your passion!

Argh. I hate the people who tell me that I can never make a career out of writing. I know it`s true that writing doesn`t bring in the cash and that I`ll have to work a second job to make ends meet, but the goal of my life is not to make a huge pile of money. It`s to do what I really want to do.

I`m so glad I got to meet you because of writing. The writing community on here is amazing. :)

Yeah, I've had people tell me that too. I want to work in a library, which is why I've been contemplating getting a masters in library science but then my family was all "oh, you don't get much money from that" but I don't care! I want to do something I'm happy doing, not be stuck in a cruddy job that's gonna make me tear my hair out.

And, you guys rock! Without you guys I wouldn't have found the encouragement/push to keep trucking along with my stories! Haha.
