Wow. I didn't think you would give this book a 5/5, but I have to agree with what you wrote--that this is actually a pretty good novel despite some flaws.

I seriously hope that Meyer never writes a vampire novel again =_=

Yeah, I wasn't expecting a 5/5 either. But it was one point off of a 4/5, which I think better suits it. Buuut, the numbers tell me it's a 5, so I have to obey. :P

And, I totally agree. Vampires don't seem to be Meyer's forte. She should stick with the good old sci-fi.

Hahaha, I love how you say vampires aren't Meyer's forte when "vampires" is now forever linked with her name :P I'm really super curious as to what she writes next, too! I want to see her branch out...

Well, she doesn't know how to write vampires properly--that and romance-- but for some reason, everyone loves it. I'm yet to find out why.
I think that Meyer should concentrate on novels where the romance isn't the main focus, because from The Host, she did a pretty damn good job of most everything BUT the romance.
