Okay, the part where the giants are killed sounds horribly gory. I`d have to put the book down for a few minutes if I had to read that sort of scene.

Other than that, I might consider picking up that book sometime. It sounds amazing. =D

Yeah, the scene was a bit much, especially in the way it was described; I had to stop reading a few times to wrap my head around it, and to calm myself from the images of gore that were popping up in my head.

You won't regret reading it. It's quite the read, and very immersive. :3

I miss reading high fantasy, maybe I'll give this one a try, oh and I read Beastly and completely agree with you post on it (except, I really enjoyed the chatroom stuff lol but it did feel like its own separate thing to the actual story), I thought the characterisation was really strong, love at 16 is little unbelievable for me too lol.

Thanks for reading my reviews, and I'm glad you agree. :)
And yeah, love at 16... Just woah. Unfortunately, too many books for teens follow that sort of thinking, which is a bit disappointing. Honestly, I'd like to read a romance where it's realistic. That'd be a nice change.

And I bet you'll enjoy reading this book/series. It's quite epic. (A bit long, though. 10 books in total, I believe.)
