"More arrogant and imperious than desperate. Definitely frustrated with the situation. I think he doubts his ability to make a clean break with their teleporter on the loose."

Noah smiles. "He tried to bargain with me to guarantee a teleportation escape for him, but we weren't able to reach an agreement on that."
