Ted spent most of the previous night in Gotham. He's not one to say that he spent most of it with Catwoman. That would open up too many questions. Just before dawn however after a revelation he left Selina's apartment and made a beeline to New York and the Brownstone.
He arrives shortly after Sand.
"Sand!" he exclaims, a bit short of breath. "It's Mordru! Mordru's back!"
When did she arrive? Jesse's always the sort to be quiet. She hasn't smiled since she heard the news of Alan's demise - unsurprising thanks to her own legacy and the nature of her admiration of the Golden Age heroes - and she, like many, is worried about Wonder Woman and the Amazons. So the JSA's business manager has been solemn and quiet until Ted's exclamation.
There is a green light outside the building, carrying a stern man. Terrific has been away in space on a personal mission, alongside Guy Gardner, but he's back.
He caught the emergency alert as they hit the atmosphere, and monitoring the first few minutes of the meeting.
"All right, Sand. Bring us all up to speed. Background and analysis."
He refrains from taking the chairman's seat. It's Sand's call, at the moment, and he's comfortable with that.
Sand took one look at Michael, then moved away from the chairman's seat to one nearby. "I'll do that as soon as you assume your proper position, Mr. Chairman." He gestures to the chair.
Hawkman arrives not long after Superman. Its a long flight from Themyscira, but the trip did allow him to get some idea of events that occurred there. Regardless, he's clearly not happy. But then this isn't unusual.
Superman gets barely a glance, his eyes shifting to Sand shortly after his entry. "What do we know so far?"
Newcomer. Huh. Corrine waves a little-- friendly but brief. Meetings always mean bad news. Well, more of it; the news about Alan was bad enough. One of these days a "yay, everything's okay right now!" meeting might not be so bad. With confetti.
She's got a seat and is quietly watching, one leg over the other twitching nervously.
"All right. Before we move forward, I have to implore everybody to act as if Alan and Marvel are still on the board. Things look grim right now, but neither of them are the type we can count out. Ever."
He scans the faces.
"No contact from Fate, but that doesn't mean much yet. We're going to need mystical intel, and fast. I want to know how Mordru got free, who the new player is, and what they're up to."
He catches his breath.
"Thoughts, questions or observations before we divvy up responsibilities?"
Jesse's gaze, which had been directed toward the floor, finds Todd's features and rests there. Though she doesn't know Obsidian well (who, other than his sister, does?), the blonde speedster can see he's upset and therefore says quietly to him, "No one in here is going to let Mr. Scott down. No one."

"I think you're right, Ted. Something happened over Themiscyra that just came across that I think confirms that."
He holds back a bit, wanting to wait until everyone arrives so he can tell everyone at once."

"What?"

He pauses. "Reports from the war have Captain Marvel being taken. There were two partial ID's of his assailants. One fits Mordru's description..."
Another pause. "The other fits Alans."

"I'm turning the gavel over to you until I'm up to speed. Been in space too long."
He hits a button on his holographic glove control, and a map of the globe appears.
"Computer, voice-command illustration. Show me codenames "Sentinel" and "Marvel."
Their images and files appear.
"All right, Sand. Bring us up to speed, and the computer will fill in what gaps it can."

She says nothing when she enters, but instead stands at Hawkman's side.
Listening.

I need to be here, his eyes seem to say. I know what I did. I know that this is uncomfortable. But he's my dad. I need to help.
He's yet to say a word.

Father's been Eclipsed. And Mordru. Oh God, Mordru.
