High above the atmosphere, his usual spot for contemplation, Alan hovers. There is no stillness quite like the stillness of space. From here he can see the whole planet, revolving in silence. From here the world seems so calm and peaceful. From here, the problems are seem so much smaller. He knows that is an illusion. A man of his will does ( Read more... )

Eclipso's form is a rotting hulk of a human being and Alan's forceful blow causes his left arm to detach as he's hurled through the wall into the street and the night air.

"AHHHHHH!!!" He cries angrily.
"I'll have your soul for that Lantern!
You're dried up old woman will scream when I savage her with your own flesh!" he snarls spitting out decayed teeth.

The emerald fire catches Ishmael Gregor by surprise and he too is thrown from the office out into the night. He lands easily onto his feet, wicked red light gleaming in his eyes. His smile is a snarl of dark and cruel delight.

"Green Lantern." he purrs.
"The Original even. We were waiting for you to show."

Faster than many would credit a brute of his size capable of, Sabaac grabs a telephone pole, snapping it from it;s foundation like a twig and hurls it directly at the elder Lantern.

"Catch!"

"There will be no screaming today, you monster." The emerald flames swirling about Eclipso quickly dissapate and Molly is noticeably absent. There is just enough time for him to turn, flinging a nearby car in the path of the oncoming telephone pole, "and it's not going to be that easy." There is a thunderous crash as wood meets steel, glass shatters from the car and misses the crowd who are safely sheltered beneath an enormous green umbrella.

"My turn," Alan aims his ring at Sabbac and a fiery green baseball bat smacks him in the back of the head.

Sabaac snarls in annoyance and his face shows that the blow was a painful one. Amazingly however he is not bowled over. He leaps at Alan with demonic fury, he eyes ablaze and his mouth open and slavering, revealing his deadly teeth.

He brings his hellish claws down upon Alan as he reaches him, intent upon rending him from sternum to navel.
