The Magus has been at this for several days. He does not eat. He does not sleep. It is fortunate that he is no longer human, or else this would have taken much longer. A woman materializes where the Magus is working. She has a beautiful face, though if you look at her too long you'd swear she was a man. Her voice, when she speaks, is as smooth as glass, or silk, or chocolate.
Looking for something you want, are you? I don't know that you will find it here. Though this isn't the thing you truly seek, that I know for certain.
She smiles mysteriously, obviously concealing some piece of knowledge.

The Magus is not startled. His is too aware for that. A quick glance at the Threads tell him what being stands before him.

Do you now? What is this reality to you? It has nothing to do with you, nor do you wish to be a part of it, truly. You don't actually want to help them do you? Not when you could be spending the time in other, better ways.
She looks at the Magus for a moment, assessing him.
No, you wouldn't be interested in finding a way to be human again, not when you have such important work to do. You are not one who puts his desires before his duties.
