In front of the JSA Brownstone:

A taxi squeals to a stop in front of the JSA Brownstone.

A chimp hops out of the back seat, throwing money at the cabbie as he does so.

"Hey, Fate!" he calls, scurrying up towards the front door. "FATE!"

He knocks rapidly at the front door. This is urgent.

The door opens. "Back so soon?"

"No time to explain," Chimp tells her, bustling past. "Nightstar's running headlong into danger, and she needs backup now!"

He reaches the hall, and calls out to the entire Brownstone. "FATE! You here?!"

Fate appears, looking much more refreshed since his earlier exertion.

"Nightstar? Damn it.

Explain when we get there."

Fate hits his JSA alarm.

"I'll take us there directly."

[onthecase]

"Ma?" the Chimp says, turning to her. "Contact Oracle. Nightstar was very clear on that... let Oracle know."

He turns back to Fate and gives the address and floor. "Let's skidaddle."
