Fixing Guy

Hal has spent a great deal of time getting supplies everywhere they've been needed, assisting with medical supplies, and generally being one of the few completely unaffected superheroes for the entire world... for several weeks straight. The ring has kept him feeling refreshed, and prevented him from needing food or water. It's not been glamorous

There is a noise from the other side of the door, a person made noise and then there is a soft thud. It sounds like Arisia isn't entirely awake yet and getting out of bed was a little trickier than she thought it would be.

"Hmmmmm? Kay... Be there..." SHe's on her way toward the door.

He waits for her to open the door. "Hey, Ari," he greets. "I don't want to keep you from your warm bed for too long... but Guy's still a caveman. Well, more than usual. And I could really use your help in fixing him."

Arisia still looks thin. Too thin. She hasn't been eating either and her metabolism has been slowly eating away at her. ".... Oh. That's bad." She nods a bit and starts to make her way passed Hal, "We can.. take care of that." She reaches up and runs a shaky hand through her already tousled hair.

"Are you doing alright, Ari? When did you eat last?" Like Hal has any room to talk...

[elfinlantern]

"Yeah.. Sleep. Mmmmmmm. Food."

Arisia is a little out of it, apparently. Still, she's on her way down toward the kitchen. She isn't skipping but it looks like she's thinking about it. There is a lightness to her steps.

Hal accompanies her downstairs. "You sit," he tells her, a smile on his face. He looks as tired as she feels... yet somehow, he's still standing. "Let me get you something... something quick and high protein."

He begins looking through the cupboards, looking peanut butter and either bread for a sandwich or instant oatmeal.

Arisia slips into a chair and watches Hal, with a similar smile on her face as she watches him. She makes a small gesture toward one of the cabinets, showing him where the food likely is.

As he begins puttering in the kitchen, preparing food for her, he looks up at her.

"Ari... there's a lot that I've been thinking about. And a lot I want to say. But I'm not sure that right now, as tired as I am, is the right time to say them."
