"Believe it or not, I'm more than just a pretty face."

Garth fights nausea and vertigo as he forces himself into a semi-seated position. "I believe that is the least of your qualities. It is the most overwhelming though. I'm not sure if that came out as a compliment, but it was intended to be."

"I am not one who worships you. You know that. But I honor what you represent. It is why I am here. It is why all of the Titans are here today. Our fight, our sacrifices as great as they have been, are for love."

Tempest stops to consider for a moment, "Perhaps in our own way we do worship the goddess of love. Forgive me, I'm rambling and I think I might pass out anytime."

She tilts her sunglasses down. "You're too cute to die." Aphrodite snaps her perfectly manicured fingers.

Garth inhales sharply as his crushed body is suddenly whole again. Still wrapping his mind around what has happened, he rises to his knees. "Thank you godess for my life and for your continued favor. I pray I am worthy of them. Shall I rejoin the fight or do you have some other task for me?" Tempest suspects the gods are working behind the scenes and asks to provide her an opening.

"What are you doing here?" Starfire demands of Pharras. "Did X'hal reject you?"

"I have rejected her!" Pharras swings a longsword at Starfire. "She favored you, and you polluted the House of And'r with a mongrel child."

"You will not call my son a mongrel," she snarls. "You are a filthy traitor who deserved to die."

"I died for our people!" he roars, swinging again. This time he is in range.

Roaring from feral rage, Fauna sliced through almost a dozen of the skeletons and whips around searching for the next batch. There is something moving too fast for even her eyes to see, something within the closest knot of skeletal warriors.

With catlike strength and precision, she leaps into the fray, claws bared.

Hades is distracted by the wounds Tempest inflicted upon him, and the rage he saved for Terra. He turns his attention to Jesse and Victor. The flames warp around him harmlessly.

"My realm is the hot bowels of Earth itself. That is but a warm breeze. Try this..." He makes a choking gesture with his hand and metal parts of Victor's body begin to corrode. Jesse, on the other hand, can feel her joints stiffening, her body weakening, the speed and strength draining from her.

As they hit the ground, their faces are wrinkled and their hair is chalk white. Hades has aged them a century in a second.

Terra pays them no attention, hurling boulder after boulder at the mad god.

"Running scared, Hades? See, I've been doing some thinking... you're the one who chained me to that fucking boulder task, you sicko. And if you asked for my help this early in the fight... you're running scared." She punctuates this comment with another hurled boulder. "So who's the losing side, then?"

Vic's assault on the dead stops. He drops to one knee.

This...is only gonna slow me down...bastard.

You have any idea what the lifespan of plastic is?

Jesse, however, is not made of such stern stuff, and she crumples, enfeebled.

However, his victory is short-lived as an arrow with pure white fletchings lands true! It pierces his back, through his ribcage, and through his immortal heart. He screams and collapses to his knees, clutching his chest.
