It was as though Hayden had willed the cage into existence, and maybe he did. His power levels are somehow now off the charts -- he can do things he's never been able to do, even with the Medusa Mask

Sue glances up at him, turns back and says casually to Jordan. She waves a hand in Tanner's direction. "Should I yell, 'son of a bitch, what the hell are you trying to do?' or is it your turn now?"
"Major surprise there," remarks Sue dismissively. Okay, she didn't know, Ralph would have. Still, it's bluffing time. "Care to get that laugh out of the way and explain why destroying creation in favor of salvaging parts sounds like a brilliant idea?"
*He turns to Sue. Maybe this is why villains talk so much ... to calm their nerves.*
It started with a harbinger. The Harbinger, actually. On the Monitor's satellite. Those of us she used her powers to bring there were drenched in energy. The same energy we'll be using now.
*Tanner's in on the villain spiel now, too. THey really can't resist audiences, can they?*
Those heroes and villains gathered were from different times, so most were out of our reach. Firebrand was handy, and Geo-Force was ... isolated. Which helped. *And if a small smile has crept onto Jordan's face, it's difficult to say. He has been uncharacterisitically quiet, though.*
"The hell do you need Beetle and the kid for? They're gadget guys. Unless you can't make spare universes out of spare parts and half the ingredients - which you are doing. How do you know this "end of the world," isn't summoned by your attempts at godhood here?"
Yup, play dumb...keep 'em talking. Hope Ted doesn't do something heroic and stupid.

"I mean how. I've known you for years. I know every inch of your background...

Tanner leans up close to the bars, and Jordan finalyl does thrust forward, maybe hoping to break his fingers. Maybe just to do something.
"I'll tell you a secret," says Tanner, still smirking. "Tanner Kae doesn't exist. I created him from whole cloth nearly forty years ago."
