Mar'i whispers urgently to Dick and Barbara Grayson as they are preparing to leave, then goes over to Ibn. "I have to leave soon, but I made you a promise." She smiles. "I like to keep my promises." Allowing him to take her arm, she walks over with him to Ted Kord. "Uncle Ted? There's someone who wants to meet you. This is Ibn Head."

"Uh...hello, sir. I'm a big fan of yours," Ibn replies. He looks around. He can't say why of course. Wouldn't do to out your hero's secret ID.

Mar'i chuckles and pokes Ibn's shoulder, looking more playful and relaxed than she has all evening. "Sorry, Uncle Ted. He's a little shy around you."

Laughing, she starts to say something else, then stops, looking into his eyes. "I'm sorry." She looks briefly at Ted, then back at Ibn. "My--the Graysons are leaving, and I have to go. I hope I'll see you again."
