As they cross the dance floor a cry comes out from the attractive Wayne Tech blonde.

"Wait!" she runs after them. "I need help."

Ted manages to blink as Sue leaves but that's about it. He feels somewhat sheepish and runs a hand through his hair before looking at Roxy. "Okay then. Do you remember where you were?"

[blonde_techie]

"Uh." There a distinct, "Deer in headlights," moment.

"I was showing them to Mr. Wayne in the corner." She scans the dance floor as she speaks. Even though she clearly has one on already, she describes it near frantically. "It's about yea big," indicating an inch, "And sort of a chrome colored bar, but not really."

A glance tells Ted that it isn't on the dance floor. It's on her person. It's down the front of her dress and is hanging on between bits of her hair and her...front engines.

He nods then...he looks embarrassed.

Ted coughs. "Um. Well, maybe it got caught. On your hair or...um...fell. Somewhere. Maybe you should...er...check."

[blonde_techie]

"Where?!" she starts checking her disshelved bun and patting down her dress. The earing just sort of hangs there in the meantime.
