Tim's been very busy catching up on responsibilities and duties. He needed to make sure his affairs were handled before he took this next step. It is not an implication of diminished importance that has waited this long to attend to this matter, rather it is an indication that he very well understands it's gravity and wished to be certain that

The red-haired martial arts master is out on the practice floor, stepping slowly through the motions of a kata - but he notices the sounds of Gotham intruding when the door opens.

"Come to sign up for a class?"

Of course, he hasn't turned towards his guest yet, so perhaps he simply feels safe in assuming it is a would-be student.

"You could say that." comes the reply.

Tim doffs his shoes and removes his outer rain clothing at the door. He bows in Richard's direction, his left open hand covering the closed fist of his right while his legs crouch in cat style, a formal bow signature of Wundang Kung Fu. The positioning of his hands relative to Dragon indicate respect rather than a challenge.

Dragon turns and nods, returning the bow, with a smile.

"Well, now. I think you and I have had prior acquaintance, though perhaps you were more garishly dressed."

Dragon himself doesn't really care about secret identities, but he respects the privacy of those who need them.

"I was on the job at the time." he smiles back.

His face then becomes a clear window into his soul, reflecting the absolute commitment in what he says next.

"I've been catching up on the duties and responsibilities I left behind prior to my return and I've spent some time contemplating the path I've been on.

I know now that this life I've chosen is no longer a path or a calling. It is who I am. So I've come to seek out Shiva."
