Dr. Kala Avasti stood in her lab, looking over the deactivated Amazo unit.She had the programming on a datachip on her desk, and afters he had analyzed it, she thinks she is ready to attempt to figure out how the antennae on the ears absorb power from heroes. She removed the face-plate, and then the ears came off easily. She was about to begin

Karu-Sil and her fathers entered the laboratory, shortly after blasting their way into the facility. The scarred female turns to Dr. Avasti.

"Stay down, stay quiet, and my fathers will not tear you apart."

The three golden beasts circle the doctor, each growling, a low menacing sound. Karu-Sil walk to the inert Amazo unit and prepares to cocoon it in golden energy.

Dr. Avasti nodded, retreating the the corner and hudling as the beasts surrounded her. She began praying, begging God not to let this woman kill her.

Jaime flew into the building through the hole in the side wall, quickly entering the Robotics lab. He noticed 3 things immediately. Woman in a lab coat being threatened by glowing yellow dogs, Some woman dressed in yellow with no lips, and a robot the lipless woman was going for. He created an energy chain, wrapping it around the doctor, and pulling her away from the dogs as his other arm transformed into the phased-energy wave thing, and he sighted the yellow woman, quipping, "I wouldn't touch that. You break it, you buy it." He said, firing a full power shot at her.

If Karu-Sil is startled by Jaime's sudden arrival, she doesn't show it. She raises her arm, a golden barrier appears in front of her, blocking Scarab's blast.

"From what I understand it's already broken." Her lipless mouth smiles. "I merely wish to fix it."

The conversation is actually meant to be a distraction as one of Karu'Sil's "fathers" had gotten behind Jaime and was ready to pounce.

"Don't let her reactivate it!" Dr. Avasti shouts to the young man who had just saved her.

Jaime raises an eyebrow curiously, "Why?" He asked, being suddenly cut of when one of the fathers pounces on him. As he struggles to keep the snapping jaws away from his face with one hand, the other changes ito a long blade. He brings the blade stabbing forward at the strange animal.
