Some discussion follows - some communicated verbally, other thoughts shared via a mental bond amongst the group.

Finally, the Guardians float forward as one, to the Book of Oa. The frontmost of them gestures, and the Book opens, pages flipping to locate a blank section near the end.

"We do not endorse this idea lightly, but it cannot be denied that the Sinestro Corps poses a unique threat to the stability of the galaxy. Therefore, we enact into the Book of Oa the first new law of the Green Lantern Corps in more than three billion years."

Lethal force is authorized to be used against the Sinestro Corps.

Amon Sur doesn't hear the announcement among the Green Lantern Corps, and may not have cared even if he had. He hates Hal Jordan with such a burning loathing, and continues to hack, and slice, and stab at the Lantern's armour with his amber blade, snarling and curling his face into a look of pure venom.

The appearance of Major Force - even an apparition cast from cowardly yellow light energy - is enough to cause Kyle a moment's hesitation. The construct of Hal's deceased predecessor is powerful, resilient, no doubt aided by the power of the Parallax fear entity. But Kyle is holding his own, matching each strike, dodging and weaving throughout the upper reaches of Mogo's atmosphere.

But then, something changes, something so completely unexpected that Kyle actually pauses in mid swing to look down at his ring, the eyelets of his mask widening as he stares at the small device as if for the first time.

Lethal force is authorized to be used against the Sinestro Corps."Ring," Kyle says, barely ducking out of the way of the swing of a bladed fist. "Authenticate previous message ( ... )

"Antimater fluctuation detected...!"

"Hrm." Sinestro twirled his mustache softly, "Ranx survived. Unexpected. If only we had the opportunity...in another life, perhaps."

"S-sinestro..." A Weaponer falls to her knees, panting from a bloody mix of fear and exhaustion. "...we're...we're ready!"

"On time and on budget." Sinestro smiles, a little, cupping the young Weaponer's chin with his hand as if hoping to show her that he means no harm. "Who says that fear is not as efficient an incentive as greed?"

A moment, two...and then he drops the girl, turning to gaze on his creation. "Citadel Jupiter." Sinestro sneers, looking over the black and yellow construct balanced on the icy moon surrounding the largest of Sol's planets. "I'm going to enjoy this..."
