Roy couldn't quite remember how he got to the hospital or the doctors placing the IV drip into his arm, which was a good thing or even being placed into the bed, but he could recall Donna picking the pair of them up, he hoped it was because the journey was quick and not the poison in his veins.

"Um..yeah." He hesitantly says as he lies back against the stark white pillows. "Are you okay? Jade didn't catch you when you were bringing us here did she? She can still be lethal when she's unconscious. Have you heard anything from GA, is he alright?"

A million other things where going round him mind that seemed far more important than the condition he was currently in.

Cheshire is, of course, restrained to her bed. But she's an accomplished martial artist, and contortion is a speciality. Silently, she begins to arch her back as Donna turns to look at Roy, but is stopped by the amazing pain of the bullet wounds in her chest and stomach. "Nng."

She smiles as she sees the IV going into Roy. "That won't help you're pretty boyfriend, you know. Only I know what I stuck him with."

"Jade, what the hell did you put in me?!" Roy all but yelled as he noticed that his ex-lover was awake. "Come on, do you really want to do this to Lian?"

She laughs, coughing slightly, and wincing from the pain. "I like to try to remember what it was you put in me... A few times." She provocatively bites her lip, and makes a groaning noise. Just to unsettle the happy couple.

"Promise to return me to Waller, and your liver may yet survive... I know the antitodes for all of my venoms."

Roy groggily came round to the sound of his mentor's voice and the prods to the side. After sipping from the cup Ollie had passed to him he was ready to question Cheshire.

"No-one would be happy chained to a hospital bed, least of all a criminal."

He gently moved himself to sit a tad straighter, only wincing a couple of times from the tender sutchers in his stomach.

"I'm ready when she is to start this."

At this moment he was very greatfull that Donna had taken one of the complimentary dressing gowns from the hotel as he wasn't about to show off his bare behind to the whole of the Miami hospital.

He nodded to the guards, who had probably been told that he was the lead police investigator on this case, before entering the room.

"Want to get away from me that quickly?" He smuggly asked as he gently sat in the chair close to the bed. "Haven't even asked you to marry me yet."

It was a running joke, that used to be a serious question before he married Donna, that Roy would ask Jade to marry him for Lian's sake so that his little girl could have a motherly figure in her life.
