A knock at the door, who could it be...?

It had been almost an hour since Crane had left. Ivy had calmed down from her laughing fit and showered, but hadn't bothered to get dressed yet.  She was still lounging in her silk robe, red hair drying in the sun coming through her large bedroom window. It was a knock at her bedroom door that shook her out of her reverie. Harley didn't knock, so ( Read more... )

She took the shots to the chest and the stomach. Most likely, nothing vital was hit but they were enough to knock her backwards onto the bed. The pain was too intense to concentrate on summoning any plant life to defend herself.

She choked and sputtered before she could form a proper sentence. "Hush! You bastard! What the hell is your problem?"

Can plants bleed? This one can, though you wouldn't want to get too close to that toxic bloodstream.

Ah, so that's why he was upset. Villains going soft, not making it difficult for Batman. It always came down to that with Hush, didn't it. Batman.

She gasped each time the pain shot through her, which would be every time he kicked her wounds. Her delicate green hand rose to grasp the gun at her temple and she put on her best seductive face. Her breath was shallow and she wasn't sure how much her pheromones could be released in her current condition.

"Hush, calm down. You can handle Batman on your own for a while, can't you? We just need a little vacation that doesn't involve orange jump suits. I'm sure I can help you relax a little, too."

Her voice was soothing but strained.

A couple of hours later, and Crane is back at the warehouse, now in costume. Not for any sexually deviant purpose... well, perhaps on some level... But in actual fact he had been waiting for a bus down the road for the past hour and not one had come. Plenty of cars had passed, however, and beeped at him in his pink robe. So he had decided to give the next driver a scare.

The man driving had seen the hunched over person, and pulled over to help what was clearly a man in pain. And then the Scarecrow had stood up straight. And launched at him with a sharpened piece of metal. The mess was fairly bad, and he needed to clean up. Still, what with this being a largely industrial area, there were plenty of places for the body to go. Specifically, he wanted Pamela's aid in feeding the man to one of her plants.

So he's back, and knocking on the door. "Pamela? It's me again."

Unfortunately for Crane, Ivy can't get up right now. She doesn't even have the strength to get one of her plants to open the door for him. Pitiful mewling will have to do to get his attention.

"Jonathan?! ...I ...I need your help!" Asking a human male for help hurt even more than the gunshot wounds.

"Pamela?!" The Scarecrow steps back, and runs up to the door, with an attempt to kick it open. "Aargh!" He falls backwards, clutching his leg. "Damn."

He gets up, hobbling slightly, and tries to shoulder the door open. "It won't open!" He then has a moment of recollection. "Forget it!" He grabs the handle, and pulls.

Stepping inside... Or hopping inside... Crane looks around, and sees the wounded Poison Ivy. "What in hell happened to you?"

"It was... The Black Mask. Shot me up with a plant killer. I can barely move." It was doubtful that a hospital could help her... maybe some water and sunlight could fix her up if the bullets were taken out.

"I wasn't expecting an ambush. I thought it was you."
