Superman stays down, for a moment, chewing on Brainiac's words. Brainiac, who did this whole thing...probably just to try and break Clark while he seemed weak. Brainiac, the arrogant, sneering alien that Luthor /thinks/ Superman is. Brainiac.
"Brainiac!" Oh, he's yelling. He should pay attention to that. "If you had...any faith at all in your mad plans, you'd be here to finish me yourself, instead of hiding behind this ignorant...thing! The only thing you've managed to accomplish..."
Superman snaps into the air, giving Hal a grateful nod before pulling into a spinning overhead punch, that knocks Chemo airborn! "...is making me really, really mad!" Superman finishes, as the Justice League works together, hammering away at Chemo until, finally, he's nearly at the stratosphere...
