Talia sat back, her expression calm, though a smile did twist at her lips. "What can I do for you?" Talia asked.
"It is more what you can do for you. You are accomplished, you say. You are 'better than that.' Tell me what you can offer, and we will go from there."
"Just a chance." He finally looks up. "You've got connections. And, in some ways, people who do what we do, are quite intertwined."
This time, his eyes go right to hers. "If I can count on you, when things come down...I'll trade one favor. Cashed in whenever you like, FOR whatever you like."
"Chances are not cheaply given. Or lightly, for that matter," Talia said leaning forward a bit. "We are an odd group, often intertwined, sometimes allies, others enemies. But the goals are what are important. If you stick to those goals then you can indeed count on me. I have to admit, a favor for favor is intriguing. As long as it does not have limits."
