You'd have to be a fool or some kind of hermit to have missed the news - Solomon Grundy was running wild, everywhere! In fact, even a few fools had managed to hear about the goings-on

It takes an hour or two, because as many Grundys as there are, it's not as if the streets are overflowing. At last, in one of Metropolis's many park spaces, Ambush Bug manages to track one down.

This particular Grundy seems to favor a ragged white suit rather than the usual black, and is calmly sitting on a park bench, studying a butterfly that has alighted on his hand.

The Bug pops into view, wielding his hands in an awkward facsimile of a karate stance.

"Ah-ha! No use running, Grundy! I've got the front vector covered, and my sidekick has cleverly circled around to cut off your avenues of escape!"

Indeed, Cheeks sits limply on a fountain a few yards behind the bench.

Solomon slowly cranes his neck, grunting gutturally as he spots the doll 'impeding' his 'escape', and then turns back to Ambush Bug.

"Butterfly. Pretty."
