"Get down!" barks the Canary. Without waiting to see if Flamebird has obeyed her, she aims a Canary Cry at the oncoming tank.

"Better than mine." Flamebird finishes with another vehicle of guys, grabbing her own guy in an arm lock. He isn't quite as shiny but there are shiny bits on his uniform. "All the German I know I learned from bad TV shows and a U2 album."

The Blackhawk rolls her eyes, even though the other two blondes can't see it, then elucidates for Dinah. "Halten, oder wir kannst hier bombadieren! Achtung, baby!"

But the officer seems to have decided that it is better to be taken prisoner by three crazy women than it is to die a glorious death on the battlefield, and he barks a quick series of guttural orders at his soldiers. Within seconds, weapons hit the dirt.
