One being stands in their way. His duplicate Green Lantern ring flares as he contemplates the assemblage before him -

- then he charges, at superspeed.

A dozen villains soar over Tel Aviv, in loose formation, led by Hal Jordan on point. Their target, and that of the groundpounders below, is Nes Ziyyona, the Israeli weapons facility.

Travis launches a dozen spears of green energy. Its not like him, but not many would know that. He's just trying to separate the faster, agile types from the 'I can take it' crowd a bit and clear a neat path to him for Hal Jordan.

Solid balls of shadow appear in the sky. Nothing lethal by any means, but enough to at least break the flyers' formation so Travis can focus.

Once the flyers are separated, she'll pick a target then pick a fight.

Giganta is in the forefront of a steady advance of metahumans advancing on Nellis Air Force Base outside of Las Vegas, one of the United States' largest nuclear weapons facilities.

She's not at the forefront for long. The superspeed of the Flash trumps the long stride.

Hourman wordlessly holds a Miraclo pill as he rides Giganta's shoulder.

Waiting for the precise moment necessary.

So, too, is the blonde speedstress nearby waiting for the precise moment necessary to speak her formula and take hold of the Speed Force. Waiting to charge in and face off against her closest friend and companion. There's no happy outcome here unless she gets to find and beat the heck out of whoever's done this to--

"Rick?" she says to hereslf, eyes widened. She expected to fight one boyfriend. The ex-boyfriend is an added "bonus" to an already unhappy day.

She's the only one who can do what must be done, too.

Out comes her formula, and in a blur of white, red and gold, Jesse siezes her legacy and the offensive.

In Aldermaston, a horde of metas are flying for Amazo -

but Firestorm hangs back. Amazo is made of nonliving material. That means he can convert him...

A giant green boxing glove fires forth out of Amazo's ring, dodges around the other incoming foes, and knocks Firestorm out solidly.

Much harder than Hal Jordan ever would choose to deliver a punch, really - not fatal, but if Ronnie doesn't have a broken jaw now he's very lucky.

As Firestorm drops, the villains charge in, with rainbow blasts -

Arisia is in Tel Aviv. Her encounters so far have been light and she's thankful for it. She's till hurting - pretty badly, to tell the truth. Still, that would never stop her from being here, to help. Travis seems to have gotten through to Hal and she is thankful for that but she's watching.

Looking to see where she is needed.

Hal appears to be on their side now -- but green bands still keep him restrained, and a green clamp is keeping his mouth silent.

And sweat is beginning to pour off his brow, even as he's using his ring against his enemies. The starro within him is beginning to wake up, and it's starting to snake its tentacle within him back into his brainstem... and begins to siphon off his willpower.

He sends a quick mental flash to Ari.

If you've got a way to get rid of this thing... now's the time...

There is a flicker of a lot of things on Arisia's side, though they're all suppressed within a heartbeat of that contact.

Mind you, she'll have to be able to get it to work. Which is going to take a bit.

In London, the Amazing Android is surrounded by the unconscious bodies of his foes -

then something blasts him from behind, and he staggers.

He turns, and his ocular transcievers transmit an image instantly to the Calculator -

and then another blast, and he is dispersed, a thousand pieces scattered.

Aquaman probably wants to know this - the big bad behind it all just blew up Amazo in England.
