Catwoman is there. He's brooding and she's sneaky. She can tell he's brooding from a rooftop or two away. In a time not that long ago that would mean something entirely different than it does here and now.

Walking up, along the edge of the building, she perches and waits. There will certainly be something forthcoming. The type of occurance is truly what is in question.

There's little about life he doesn't hate right now.

Selina's one of the exceptions.

He knows she's there, of course. Brooding doesn't turn off the keen senses, the intense awareness of his surroundings that keeps him alive. Yet he lets a minute pass before speaking.

"Two-Face is back."

The statement hurts. Damn it, Harvey. You came so far.

Not the Batman's anger-laced rumble but Bruce, upset for Dent and for Gotham and in part for himself, answers softly, "Mad Hatter's mind-control devices were used to get Thorne to confess. He told me Two-Face wanted the technology. Tetch is a lunatic, but he doesn't lie. Not to me."
