At 1:21am he stands in the slant of blackness below the small barred window, glaring at Strange, a man who has done much to damage his credibility, a man who can do still worse, and seethes. This man desecrated something sacred to the Batman, and a longing lingers to visit retribution on the would-be usurper.

He has expected this as well. Bruce could not leave their interaction at that terse exchange on the rooftop.

"Really, now..." He leaves that hanging, so the Bat knows he could easily refer to him by his true name.

Which is notably not Batman.
