Jay and Joan knock on the door next; Joan, of course, holds a fresh apple pie and a tub of homemade ice cream.

It's rude not to bring something, after all.

"Uncle Jay! Aunt Joan!"

Todd eagerly welcomes the two in, thinking that this must be everyone.

The food's all ready as well. Perfect timing on Jay's part, as usual.

"If everyone's ready, I think we can start."

Todd gestures for the group to come have a seat at the table. He rented a larger table and extra chairs for the evening, so everyone should have plenty of room. Todd takes a seat between Damon and Jenny and smiles at his family. All of them.

For once in his life, it's good to be Todd.

Jay offers a firm handshake to Damon.

"A pleasure to meet you, son."

This is still a little strange for Jay... but, well, if Damon makes Todd happy... in that way... well, far be it from him to be rude.

And wouldn't you know, with Joan on one side, there'd be Ted on the other. Beer in hand and a good natured grin on face.

After all, better to keep them ol' timers in one section, in case they needed their food cut, heheh.

Though Ted caught the little bit of tightness in Jay's expression and gave him a polite-for-Ted elbow to the side. Funny, Jay was the fast one, but Ted somehow handled the facts of Todd's sexuality so much faster. Of course, there were a few regulars at the Gym that, had Todd not been seeing someone, Ted would've gladdly played matchmaker for.

Not that he was going to tell Jay that.. just yet anyway.
