No rest for the wicked.

Nightwing is chasing down a wanted felon in the dead of Christmas night, through back yards and through tacky Christmas lawn displays. At least one inflatable snowman won't survive to see the morning, thanks to dodged wingdings.

He's been running for six minutes now. His quarry's tired, but ready to empty his last clip at him as he bears down.

Think fast, Grayson.

Huh. There's a use for a plastic candy cane he hadn't thought of before.

Strike that as yet another holiday missed because of Mommy's new secret job.

Manhunter sits perched outside of her son's bedroom window, dressed in her Manhunter armor, the regret not evident on her face because of the mask she wears. The night wind whips her ponytail around, and Kate slips a small box through a tear in the screen. On it is a small note which tells Ramsey that it's a special gift that his mother had Santa make from him. It doesn't make up for Kate's not being able to spend Christmas with her son.

But it's the very least she can do.
