Thankfully, Ray kept most of his scientific posessions in his miniaturized lab -- which makes for easy transportation and, mercifully, makes the inventory quick. Between the lab and his hard drives, most everything's accounted for ...

Everything, that is, except for one thing. ...

"Hot damn!" shouts Chronos at the newscast. "I figured sooner or later someone would get Palmer. Of course, I always thought it would be me."

But as the broadcast continues, something tugs at his mind ... some small little bit of ... memory? Yes. A memory. And then an it's replaced with an uncomfortable feeling.

Because wether it was the Loring bitch who did it or not, he knows who the main suspect will be.

And I'm not entirely sure they're wrong, he thinks ...

And indeed, the legal documents have appeared in the JLA's mailbox -- the judge is allowing the JLA to take temporary posession of Ray Palmer's research and technology, but insisting they not distribute or profit from them until the legal matter is settled.

JUNE MOONE (Attached File, ENCHANTRESS; Attached file, JEAN LORING, Attached file, NIGHTSHADE) located at undisclosed private rest home. Last updated by Ray Palmer via remote terminal (Attached File, ATOM II) at 9:35 p.m. EST Tuesday, November 23, 2006. (Attached File, SABASTIAN FAUST).

MEMO:Moone's condition is stable, as far as I can tell without a trained medical practictioner on hand, but it's unclear whether reintegration with the Enchantress persona will have any explicit effect. And it's unclear who she'd be if she woke up. -- RP.
