One fine day on 16th July, 2009, Jenny went to the supermarket with her father. No sooner did she enter the doors to the store, she speedily went to no other than the sweets section where she found two housewives talking excitedly over some discounted chocolate.
Housewife A: this is good! i've tried it before!
Housewife B: really? which other ones are nice?
Housewife A points to 2 out of the 5 different varieties and goes on explaining vividly while Jenny, unable to bear with just overhearing the story decides to take the initiative and eagerly engage in the discussion of these chocolates.
Jenny: which ones? which ones?
Housewife A: this one - dark chocolate with dried pear and almonds
Jenny: OMG I LOVE dark chocolate and what an interesting combination - i havent seen it before. *grabs one* where is it from? Switzaland? *thinking Lindt chocolates*
Both Housewife A and Jenny flipped the chocolates over to find out the origins of its making.
Jenny: Austria, then it must be of quality. Ah~ it also comes with the orange and almond flavour *grabs one* what about these? *sees adjacent dark chocolates of another brand on shelf* is that Italian written on them?
Jenny's father: you can't buy that! look at your waist!
Jenny: go away already! *still busy checking out the chocolates*
Housewife A: look at your own waist!
Jenny's father who looks like a Doraemon retreats quietly...
In the end, Jenny bought 3 blocks of chocolate, one with dried pear and almonds, one with orange and almonds and lastly one with 55% cocoa.

Jenny's father however was completely mesmerized at the discounted ski clothing on sale. You might find it strange that a supermarket sells these things and indeed this supermarket chain is unique as it orginated from Germany and it really looks like a small combined food supermarket and department store. He continued digging away happily at the large cage of ski coats and pants, trying them on. He even fussed like an old grandma by fitting her daughter with several ski coats in which Jenny thought she was at that instant more like a living and walking human doll than a daughter.
She does not intend to be unfilial but there are already more than 2 ski coats at home per person and buying more, she thought, would only result to waste. Jenny's father loved snow. Other than IT, photographs, physics, Hong Kong, Chinese patriotism, food, Doraemon, his wife and daughters, snow is his other interest. It is understandable since he was born and raised in the city of Hong Kong, where it lacked snow even in the coldest winter months. Yet it is NOT understandable that he always nags the entire family to go skiing or whatever every winter. Jenny's colleague from India, she remembered, also yearned hard to see snow, and the thought of them both going together, if that ever happened, may result in very amusing results.
In the end, after well over an hour of fitting, asking the price, checking for damages etc, Jenny's father to buy a 45% off ski coat for her daughter in which his daughter shyly expressed her thanks.
Jun: you should be more kind to your father!
Jenny: i did say thank you...
Sho: your father really loves you, you know.
Aiba: yea!
Jenny: but ...
Nino: no buts! there are no buts to these things!
Jenny: actually......
Arashi minus spacing out Ohno: hmmm?

Arashi minus Ohno: ... *speechless*

-inserts uncomfortable pause-
Aiba: ah..ah..ah.. how were the chocolates?

Ohno: it's alright to eat chocolates but dont let the chocolates eat you!
