I'm having flashbacks of V for Vendetta (a fantastic movie if you haven't seen it).
Okay, I know I'm jaded because I'm a thinking, self-determining individual, but for people to realize their loss of privacy would mean they would have to think beyond the moment in time. What I mean is a lot of people refuse to look beyond the obvious and into the more expansive possibilities that one thing, i.e. like having a camera to stop crime, can really encompass. Who determines what is truly anti-social behavior and how tight can those limitations become over time with just a little corruption? Scary.
