Interesting movie that, Kurtlar vadisi - Irak, or as it's called in some places Tal der Wölfe. I've been looking forward to this since I first heard about it. Did you see it in turkish with German subtitles, dubbed into German or what?

How is the story and the acting? Is it actually an entertaining film or just some turks attempt to exorcise his demons?

The acting is pretty good, only the Americans are from time to time shown ridiculously stupid or cruel. But then again you have to think about, that it's just reflecting an image that people actually have about America, and then everything fits just fine :) It is kind of an action movie set in Iraq, containing parties/characters we're not used to, lots of emotions involved, no real love story though, maybe a subtle one :)

I watched in in Turkish with German subtitles, there was no other version available. First I was afraid I wouldn't be able to see much of the movie, because I'd be following the subtitles, but that's no problem at all. Not too many dialogues, the pictures are speaking alot.

I would say that movie is definitely worth seeing, but don't expect anything you're used to see (though I don't know what you're used to ;)
