I keep going back to the thought that live journal hasn't really been much of a journal for me - it's been more of a regurgitation of my daily existence. Who wants to read that? Fuck, I don't even want to write it let alone read it! And yet most of this entry will be exactly that...feel free to ignore ( Read more... )

Good luck to Val with the surgery tomorrow. My BIL had his eyes done 2 summers ago and he is so happy with the results!

As for the journalling and creativity, I hear you. I sometimes just find myself in this space where my thoughts sort of skip across my brain. There's stuff in there that I want to say, but I just can't catch it.

That is EXACTLY how I feel. I see little images that would look fantastic as an art piece and I just can't bring it to life. So frustrating! I do think I'm going to try my hand at knitting though :)

Well, I enjoy reading your journal, so there!! =p

My journal is a rundown of my day, happy times, sad times, bitching...whatever I feel like.

I have a pretty nice group of ladies on my FL; you being one of them.

I'm glad that you survived the family visit. I swear, everytime I get together with P's family, someone zaps me with some sort of insult. I totally know how that goes.
I could write a book on those people. haha!

ha! Thanks. I guess it's not the end of the world if I don't write the great American novel with each entry.

Thanks. I wasn't thinking about getting rid of the journal just wish I could write the things I actually want to write.

FWIW, your journal isn't boring to read. It is very real and honest.

Good luck to Val on his lasik. I so want to do this, but have a strange phobia about my eyes.

I would love to do it as well but my Rx hasn't stabilized and now I have an astigmatism as well. Dammit!
