Last week the BF and I picked up the Targus stylus for our tablets. Neither one of us really liked it. The tip is very smushy, making for large lines (I'm looking mostly for a drawing tool) and it skips often. The length is good, I am sure I need it at least pen length. The short ones would be no help on drawing, IMO ( Read more... )

Have any of your styluses worked out yet? I will probably need to get one for my daughter but I've been watching your posts first. ;)

The Jot arrived this morning and I used it a bit already. Much better than the Targus. I was a bit worried, cause I could only find it on Amazon, and returning things there suck. But my first quick sketch went well. I'll hopefully try it some more this weekend and next week I'll post a review of it (and if it's good, some pics I made with it).

That would be great. I'm just not sure about buying a stylus unless I can find one that's actually decent.

Same here, I found some good reviews for a few styli (that right?), but none of the ones that said they were good for drawing could be found locally at stores (so we could return them) or online from local stores (i.e. BestBuy.com, Staples.com, etc.). But the videos on YouTube for the Jot looked promising, and it was only $20 on Amazon, which isn't too bad for a good art supply item.
