It's that time of year again! Here in the US, the days are shorter, the nights are longer...and darker...perfect for us primarily nocturnal beings. I love all things autumn -- carnivals, festivals, candied apples, cooler weather, but most of all, I love Halloween. Hey Jeannie my story is as real to me today as it was when I was a child. I lost my grandfather when I was 10 years old. He was my rock and losing him took me over 20 years to overcome. When I was 13 years old I was laying in my bed, troubled, but at the time I didn't really understand why. I remember looking up at my bedroom door which had a window and there looking down at me was my grandfather. He'd come to confort me and to assure me that he would always be with me. I wasn't afraid, he looked so peaceful and was surrounded by golden light. It was amazing how at peace I felt; it's something I'll never forget and something I will cherish always.
