Wow, Garcia-Lopez's layouts are usually so much smoother and clearer than this... you mean the guy's only human??

In his defense, he's being asked to cram a LOT of action onto one page (and there's even another row of panels at the top, which I cropped out).

Also, it was very early Garcia-Lopez. He had yet to reach his full awesomeness. For example, his first renditions of Superman were very musclebound compared the sleeker version we all know and love.
