Today, the National Hockey League 2012-2013 season should be starting with games including one between the Ottawa Senators and the hated rival Montreal Canadiens

When baseball players went on strike years ago, there was a huge surge in interest in the minor league teams. Maybe that will happen with hockey too?

This just makes me glad I'm not a sports fan. Sorry...

That's the year I stopped caring and following "professional" sports altogether. I couldn't give a rat's ass on who one a cup, a bowl, a trophy or whatever.
