Awesome that your players are treating you to some play. Hope that the car is truly fixed (and that the guy doesn't take it someplace far off). Stop having birthdays! It makes me panic that we're running out of time to meet!
Yeah, I really like the fact that the Friday nighters decided to do this every year, and Nick is such a mensch for taking on the task of running the game for a period of a month. Last night he ran Desolation (as you can see from today's blog entry, and it was a pretty fun time as I'm getting to play Sakhut of Ridge River again.
The news on the car front appears to be good. The dealer is bringing the car to the house today, around lunch time, as the repairs to the sensors appear to have done the trick. We'll see.
As for the birthdays, wish I could stop having them and not grow older while I'm at it. Come to GenCon this year, so we can meet. Or maybe next year's CanGames? :)
Got creamed in a couple of sample combats, but that's just a matter of skill and stuff. That said, 'tis fun to be on the other side of the GM Screen. :)

As for GenCon/CanGames: If I could/can, I would/will, and with bells on (maybe). But forecasts always look dark.
