I can't comment for the rest of the Friday nighters, John, but Steve and I had a really good time, and you were such a trooper yourself, given that you're somewhat under the weather.

Savage Mars is very different from Ubiquity in a lot of ways, but the combat system is rather neat. Not as fast yet for us as Ubiquity or Doctor Who was/is, but that'll take practice.

Oh, and thanks for the "wweddd!" business! :)

You're welcome. The nursing staff was very kind, to let us game. :)

You're right about Savage Mars being different than Ubiquity or DW: AiTaS, but I knew that going in - just not to the degree that one learns when one actually plays/runs the game. Like you said, practice. :)

Hospital? Nurses?

What's up, John?? I mean, I don't usually read the entire game summary, as I'm not into that, but the last paragraph caught my eye, and then I couldn't find any other info on why you are/were in hospital!!

Sounds like it was a really good game. :) As a fan of all things Barsoom, I have a question: when are you going to set up a PBeM game for this? xxx

Are you kidding me, JK?

Mars or Barsoom is soooooo much neater and cooler to game in than Who-land. Different style of universe/world, of course, but the characters can be so much more enjoyable to read about and play, even though one sacrifices all of time and space to do so.
