Have spent a very busy past couple of afternoons transcribing the five player characters onto character sheets for the Tales From the Loop game that I'll be running at CanGames 2017 in exactly two weeks.
Only just noticed this from the Drivethrurpg site. I'd seen the work of the artist before, a sort of Swedish Syd Mead, but hadn't realised there was an RPG coming out. I know that "Tales from the Loop" is also the name of the first art collection, the sequel being "Things from the Flood", which is considerably creepier.
Not sure if I'll buy this when it comes out. In truth I'd only be buying it for the art and so am probably better off saving up for the books (at £40 a pop), but we'll see.
This being Sweden I'm sure you can work in an encounter with the Majestic Moose, though gawd alone knows what it would be like in this setting. You could start the adventure with your players overhearing "A moose once bit my sister....".
The game is actually a lovely game, and has all the quality associated with Free League Publishing/Fria Ligan's previous games Mutant Year Zero and Coriolis - The Third Horizon.
I'm a fan of Simon Stalenhag's artwork, too, and am looking forward to his next artbook as well, which may be based on the Boulder City, Nevada setting for the game.
Thanks for the idea of the Majestic Moose plot. Will look things up when I get the chance. :)
