Hmm, how to describe this game...?

The People have emerged into a strange new world, a world ruled by monsters. They must carve a place for themselves in this hostile place. So you get to tell the tales of mythic heroes facing the threat of terrible monsters for outside, while at the same time finding their way within the strict rules and expectations of their family and their village.

How We Came to Live Here is a storytelling game which evokes the myths and legends of the Native American people. In the context of the game, characters must navigate their own ambitions and desires, the conflicting demands of their fellow villagers, and the ever-present threat of monsters and natural disasters from outside. Your own ambition could lead you down a path of corruption ( ... )

It does, though I'm not as interested in this one. The other ones, though, yeah. :) Thanks for the heads up.

Gee, you get me every CanGames, don't you?

I find that How We Came to Live Here is a neat game for what it does, but it's a simpler version in some ways of the Hillfolk game.

And do I get you every CanGames? ;)

A Tragedy in 5 Acts is a competitive roleplaying game in which players plot, bargain, and bid against one another to make their character the central figure in an impromptu five-act tragedy created by the group as a whole. Everyone comes to a bad end but this is the fun - and the winner gets to name the play.

You need five playes, tokens, dice, pencil and paper. No iambic pentameter required. :)

You know I wonder if this will work as an actual play performance. :P

It would work as an actual play performance, though the group creates the play to be performed as a troupe, sort of, in a neat bidding system.
