Granted, she got them from a breeder so they don't look like something she pulled out of a sewer, but they're still rats. It kinda creeps me out when she lets them sit on her shoulder and crawl around a bit. Though, really, they kinda creep me out in concept, anyway.
I thoroughly understand and sympathize on the puppy issue, though. I'd love to have one myself, but I have a second floor condo and not a lot of room (or a lawn), which I just don't think is fair to a dog, however much I might want one. And, on my salary, I figure I can afford to take care of me and...a hamster. So that's right out. But I hope you find one soon!

And you can share my new puppy, Granite. (Yes, Yana, that's what we named him.) He's stuffed and brown and has cute floppy ears. Not actually, ya know, LIVING, but still... PUPPY!
