Truly truly truly outrageous

Jul 16, 2004 13:34

My best friend is the head librarian in my hometown library, and she's always reporting back to me on the funky kids names she hears from day to day. I think the latest takes the prize: A little girl named Synergy.

Is anyone else having flashbacks to Jem & the Holograms? "Showtime, Synergy!"

Why do people do this to their poor, defenseless kids?

nostalgia, misc.

Me too. My best friend and I used to dress up like the Holograms. They have the 1st & 2nd seasons on one DVD now. Not that I'm thinking about getting it or anything. Ahem.

I know! Parents should have to go through some kind of screening test before the birth certificate is filled out.

THIS is why Hubby and I will only have kids with easily spelt and boring, plain vanilla sounding names. *g*

Those are even wrong-er than Synergy. Parents today must be on crack.

Synergy?! So, so wrong.

Of course, I went to high school with a guy named Jack Daniels. I kid you not.

Ouch. Does that beat the guy I met named Kent Clark?
